Welcome to fapg!
fapg is an umbrella organization of groups concerned with poverty and social justice issues. fapg was incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia in 1971. The objects of fapg under its constitution are:
- To exchange information between groups concerned with low-income people or social problems;
- To facilitate communication about groups concerned with low-income people or social problems;
- To encourage the formation of groups concerned with low-income people or social problems in the communities where they do not exist;
- To strengthen and unite the voice of groups concerned with low-income people or social problems in British Columbia around agreed upon issues; and
- To do all such things as are necessary, incidental or conductive to the attainment of the objective and exercises of the powers of the association.
